Starfish Family Services is a private, nonprofit agency serving all of Southeast Michigan with a focus on Western Wayne County. Starfish has 13 programs and 15 service sites serving more than 7,600 at-risk children and families each year.
Care Net Pregnancy Information Center of Berkley assists women facing unplanned pregnancies in the Metro Detroit area including but not limited to Berkley, Royal Oak, Birmingham, Oak Park, Southfield, Ferndale and Troy. All services are free and confidential.
The Senior Alliance in Wayne, MI, is dedicated to preserving and enhancing the independence of older persons and individuals with disabilities in western and southern Wayne County.
Vistas Nuevas Head Start, a division of Matrix Human Services, operates in Detroit's Southwest Head Start service area and is the largest Head Start provider in the city. VNHS is an integral part of the community and in the lives of its children and families. It is a comprehensive program serving low-income children three to five years of age, special needs children and their families. The focus is on empowering parents to provide for themselves and their families while preparing for the future.
For over 125 years, the Society of St. Vincent de Paul has been providing the Greater Detroit Area with more goods and services than any other charity. The Society provides food, clothing, shelter and valuable human services to the poor and underserved throughout the entire Detroit area.
The Salvation Army - Plymouth Corps provides assistance to families and individuals including food, rental, utility assistance, spiritual counseling and other basic needs. They also provide seasonal programs such as school supplies, Thanksgiving and Christmas assistance for low-income families and assist victims of fire and other disasters.
In 2001, the St. Mary Catholic parish in Wayne, MI, purchased a former credit union building and opened the St. Mary Community Outreach Center. Thousands of families have been helped by the Outreach Center. Residents from the cities of Wayne, Westland, Canton, Dearborn, Dearborn Heights, Redford or Garden City needing diapers or formula can contact the Outreach Center directly.
Located in Taylor, MI, Fish and Loaves Community Food Pantry unites churches, concerned civic groups, the private sector and individual men and women of faith in a community partnership to ensure that no one goes hungry or without basic needs in Downriver. Downriver helping Downriver.
HAVEN is a national nonprofit leader providing comprehensive solutions and innovative programs promoting violence-free homes and communities. HAVEN's mission is to eliminate domestic violence and sexual assault across Oakland County and the surrounding communities through treatment and prevention services.
AAA PRC is located in the heart of Livonia on Middlebelt Road, offering free services to women facing unplanned pregnancies in Livonia, Redford, Westland, Romulus, Inkster, Detroit, Garden City and more.
Warm Hearts hosts an annual baby shower for low-income and homeless expectant parents in Wayne County. Sessions are given throughout the shower to teach parenting basics and make sure parents are aware of assistance programs like WIC.
The mission of First Step: Western and Downriver Wayne County Project on Domestic and Sexual Violence is to reduce the incidence of domestic and sexual violence and to provide services to individuals affected by these crimes. Prevention of domestic and sexual violence through education, advocacy and appropriate intervention is the ultimate goal of First Step.
Carter Metropolitan CME Church Outreach
This Outreach Ministry in downtown Detroit provides basic needs to area residents, including serving lunch to 100-150 people every day. An annual baby shower is held for homeless and low-income moms.
A transitional shelter in Westland for homeless families, created through a partnership between Lutheran Social Services of Michigan and Wayne County. They welcome two-parent families, single mothers or fathers with children and pregnant women.
Wayne Metropolitan Community Action Agency provides a range of comprehensive services to low-income persons that promote positive change for Out-Wayne County communities, individuals and families empowering them to become self-sufficient.
The Downriver Community Conference Partnership provides leadership in establishing common, positive goals and strategies to develop the human, social and economic assets of the Downriver area.

Serving South Lyon, New Hudson and Salem, AFCS provides long-term and temporary assistance to the elderly, disabled, single-parent families and others in need with the goal of returning them to the independent pursuit of their life's goals.
Founded in October 2004, Community Sharing provides food, diapers, clothing, financial assistance with evictions and utility shut-offs and referrals and advocacy for in-need residents of Milford and Highland. They provide ongoing support to over 300 families each month and more and more people are turning to Community Sharing for assistance as economic troubles continue in MI.
Stork's Nest is a national program within the Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. The Zeta Nu Zeta chapter based in Inkster is dedicated to helping low-income women have healthy pregnancies and healthy babies.
Located in Northville, Sisters Maternity Center houses and treats women for 13 months who are pregnant and have life-controlling issues (drugs, alcohol, etc.)

We're sorry, but we are unable to provide diapers to MIHP providers.
The Metropolitan Detroit Regional Office provides child welfare & clinical counseling services in SE Michigan in the counties of Wayne, Oakland, Macomb, Lenawee, Monroe, Livingston & Washtenaw. The main regional office is located in Oak Park with two residential facilities for teenagers in Detroit, MI.
The Infant Mortality Program works to reduce the high mortality rate of infants born to women at risk in Detroit and Wayne County areas regardless of race, creed, national origin, age, or marital status.
The Disability Network Wayne County-Detroit is dedicated to maximizing the ability of persons with disabilities to live as independently as they choose. They encourage full participation in everyday activities by providing a nurturing & supportive environment, advocating for an inclusive community, serving as a community resource & providing a voice in the community.
First Stone Community Outreach Center
This new outreach center in Lincoln Park is opening as a food pantry to bring food and other basic needs into the homes of older adults in the community that are in need. Over time, the center hopes to provide services and support to anyone in the area in need. As the founder says, they will minister to "the least, the last and the lost."
AIHFS is a nonprofit health center in Detroit serving the Native American community of Southeastern Michigan. They provide comprehensive, culturally integrated, quality health care as well as encourage, educate and empower their clients to seek and maintain wellness to enhance the quality of their lives.
New partners will be activated as resources allow; potential partners are encouraged to submit the application form which will be date-stamped and kept on file. As resources allow, partners will be activated, notified and will receive the diaper request form.
When the Coalition on Temporary Shelter (COTS) in Detroit opened Bright Beginnings in 2007, it was the only homeless care facility in the state of MI with certified infant day care, allowing COTS parents to work, seek housing or employment, attend school or take other steps to rebuild their lives, knowing that their children are safe and well cared for. The goal is to help homeless children develop cognitive, physical, social and emotional skills at a rate equal to that of children who are not homeless.
Support and services for women facing unplanned pregnancies; pregnancy tests, counseling, maternity clothes, baby clothes, furniture, diapers and formula. All services are free and confidential.
This Canton-based outreach center provides food, a job bank, counseling and other basic needs for needy families and individuals in Canton, Plymouth, Westland, Inkster, Wayne, Belleville and Ypsilanti. Their mission is to not just provide food, but to help people to be able to provide food for themselves.
The Detroit Child Development Early Head Start program provides services for low-income pregnant mothers, infants and toddlers up to three years of age on Detroit's East side. There are currently 95 children enrolled in the program, and a waiting list to enroll.

SOS Community Services serves homeless families and children and others in crisis in Washtenaw County. The agency's comprehensive services assist families in moving from homelessness to self-sufficiency and permanent, stable housing, occupying four program and administrative sites in Washtenaw Co.
The Women and Children's Health Services Program provides preventive health services, treatment, assessment, education, case management and referral services to eligible Wayne County women and children so they can obtain information, utilize health services and prevent the onset of disease.
H.O.P.E. aims to be a premier empowerment center that makes a significant difference in the lives of people and communities in Metro Detroit, promoting the health and wellness of youth, adult and elderly, with speical attention to at-risk populations.
